So, 2 years ago my brother introduced me to this activity. He had just gotten a new GPS and sent his old one to me. I tried it and didn't have much luck with the more subtle nuances, so I put the old GPS on a shelf where it hasn't moved since. Now I have the all-powerful iPhone with the Geocache app (they really do have an app for everything!) and at christmas my brother again took me caching... the iPhone is really accurate. For $9.99 it's at least as good as most GPS that sell for hundreds.
I'm really getting into the fun of it now... it gives you a reason to get your butt off the sofa! Im up to 30 found caches in just a few months of hunting. ;-)
