So Maine followed California and repealed the right to gay marriage... <sigh> I have so many angry thoughts rolling around in my brain, I'm sure if I turned off the lights you could see the lightning storm through my ears! Legislating RIGHTS of all things... Once it passes it should become written in stone. There should not be an avenue to take away PERSONAL RIGHTS. Try to make the blacks go to the back of the bus again... I know... that would be unheard of and inhumane. And all the pro-lifers need to just admit that they lost and move along. And what if Someone tried to take away your right to Free Speech, or the Right to Bear Arms. Hell, they can't even take away the right to free speech from a convicted mass murderer on death row. Some things should be a given and not left up to the cracked-up fundies who think they have a hot-line to God herself. (Yes Reverend, I'm a blasphemer! are you mad? feel threatened? gonna try and "save" me?)
F*CK! F*CK! F*CK! F*CK! F*CK! F*CK! WHO are these people to dictate what MY rights are and show me that they deserve more rights than I do? These are the same people that you see at the mall, in traffic, and at Walmart! (yea we've all seen the fine examples of humanity in walmart!) Why is it acceptable to be at the mercy of such a fickle process on issues such as personal freedoms?
I would really like to know, but I know that I will never learn the truth of it in my lifetime.
