British Petroleum... Is only one of many big oil companies... and it is reasonable to assume that if it hadn't happened to BP it could have happened to any one of the others... Big Oil is just like the telco's... Money and PR first everything else last.
As a layman... One would think these companies would have taken extra steps... had contingency plans in the event of... It just makes me SICK to hear BP down play the amount of the spill and the environmental impact.
THIS IS WHY WE DONT DRILL IN THE GULF!
The Oil companies are NOT responsible enough to take that extra step to insure this tragedy doesn't happen.
